Remember that video of Stephanie Germanotta — oops, I mean, Lady Gaga — from 2006 that I posted earlier? Well, somebody has dug up an even older video from a 2005 NYU talent showcase and this video makes Lady Gaga look sooooooo incredibly normal compared to her current look.
I guess Stephanie Germanotta couldn’t break out in NYC with all of the other female vocalists with a piano in the area so she had to resort to turning herself into Lady Gaga. Pfft.

Here’s Stefani Germanotta playing an alt-rock song at The Bitter End while she was a student at NYU. Who is Stefani Germanotta? Oh, she’s Lady Gaga — you know, before she was actually Lady Gaga or better known to some as “the lady who wore the red Slim Jim outfit to the VMAs”. I’m convinced that Lady Gaga wouldn’t be where she is today if she didn’t start dressing up like an idiot and getting everybody’s attention for what she calls “forward fashion”. Whatever, deep down she’s still got that alt-rock girl in the video above in her.
