Driven: a Nike x Lance Armstrong commercial about fighting cancer

July 11, 2009 @ 7:48 pm

Lance Armstrong’s cancer-fighting drive is highlighted in this ad from Nike. It shows scenes of cancer patients criss-crossed with scenes of Lance riding his bike. Incredibly powerful ad and one that certainly gets at the critics who bash what he does best.

The top bike was designed by Kenny Scharf and the yellow bike below was designed by Shepard Fairey. Check out some more pictures below.

Lance Armstrong is doing alright

Lance Armstrong just posted a short video telling us about his post-op recovery process and giving us a closer look at his collar bone injury that he sustained in Spain during a cycling crash.

He’s currently got about 12 screws in his body holding bones in place while they fully heal and at the moment he doesn’t know what the injuries mean for his cycling career.
