The MISHKA store in Brooklyn is home to a massive size 16 New Era cap emblazoned with an equally large KEEP WATCH patch. Can you say AWESOME?
California’s 3rd largest city is virtually unknown
September 3, 2009 @ 7:23 pm

Divine Caroline links to this interest Google Maps image (above and embedded below) that shows California City, the 3rd largest city (in physical size) in the state of California.
California City was an idealized American dream city incorporated in 1965. It spans over 230 miles and was the future hope of some insane real estate developer that just never came to be. The city is so big in fact that it is technically the 11th largest in the entire US, but despite its size only about 6500 people live there.
If you look below, you can see white lines which show the roads and paths that were meant to carry people to and from their homes. It’s a haunting sight that you can experience virtually in Google Street View.

This past weekend, Guinness World Records named a 1224-pound cupcake as the world’s largest cupcake. The sweet treat was unveiled on Saturday at the Woodward Dream Cruise event in Royal Oak, Michigan. The company that made the cake, Gourmetgiftbaskets.com, says that the cupcake is estimated to be about 2 million calories and took nearly 12 hours to bake.

Norma Stitz has the world’s largest natural breasts
March 26, 2009 @ 8:51 pm
Measuring in at 35 pounds each with a bust size of 72-and-a-half inches, Norma Stitz is The Guinness Book of World Records holder for the person with the largest natural breasts. While there may be women out there with larger chests, those women can’t lay claim to theirs being all-natural like Norma’s!
Here’s a clip of Norma on Jenny Jones strutting her stuff!
Make sure you watch for the part where one man stands up and compliments Jenny Jones on her chest size. I had no idea people even thought of Jenny Jones like that. NASTY.
Airbus A380 takes its maiden flight

On October 25, 2007, with 455 passengers on board (plus crew and pilots), the Airbus A380 belonging to Singapore Airlines made its maiden voyage from Changi Airport in Singapore to Sydney Airport in Australia.
As you might know, the Airbus A380 is the largest passenger aircraft in the world, trumping the former title-holder, the Boeing 747.
The A380 was delivered to Singapore Airlines on Oct. 15, nearly two years behind schedule after billions of dollars in cost overruns for Airbus. Still, the wait was worth it, says Singapore Airlines, which got the exclusivity of being the plane’s sole operator for 10 months.
“This is indeed a new milestone in the timeline of aviation,” said Chew Choon Seng, chief executive of Singapore Airlines (SIA) in a speech before the departure.
The Boeing 747 jumbo jet generally carries about 400 passengers. The A380 — as tall as a seven-story building with each wing big enough to hold 70 cars — is capable of carrying 853 passengers in an all-economy class configuration.
However, Singapore Airlines opted for 471 seats in three classes — 12 Singapore Airlines Suites, 60 business class and 399 economy class.
Each suite, enclosed by sliding doors, is fitted with a leather upholstered seat, a table, a 23-inch flat screen TV, laptop connections and a range of office software. A separate bed folds up into the wall. Two of the suites can be joined to provide double beds, one of which the Elwoods occupied.
On the upper deck, business class seats can turn into wide flat beds, while the economy class seats on both decks have more leg and knee room, the carrier says. Business class passengers also have a bar area.
The amenities offered on this flight are insane! It’s comparable to a 5-star hotel or something! Check out the video below of the maiden flight out from Singapore to Sydney.
