I have never seen such beautiful sports and athletic equipment as the ones available at Lineaus Athletic Company. Their football and rugby ball (shown above) are absolutely amazing because they’re made from the same kind of tanned leather that you’ll find on a baseball glove. I’m sure these are good to use in the sport but if I owned one I’d keep it on my shelf forever just as a visual trophy. [via]

The football is $275 and the rugby ball is $325.

Not much information about this Travel Duffel on Vael’s website, but boy does it look gorgeous! It is made of heavy water-resistant coated cotton canvas with leather accents and topped off with oversized water-resistant zippers. There doesn’t seem to be any price for it at the moment, but if I find that out, I’ll let you all know.

Check out the gallery below for close-up images of the Travel Duffel.

Premium leather laptop sleeves from Shuky

Shuky is an Australian company that makes premium leather laptop/notebook cases and sleeves that seem to be on a level higher than most others I’ve seen. Absolutely beautiful and while I haven’t held one in my hand, they sure do look comfy and soft.

Thanks Grafik Museum!

Leather Band-Aids to dress those premium type wounds you’re getting. They cost $15 for a pack of 3 which is sort of a bummer because I’d totally buy it if there were 4 in a pack. Pssshhtt!! [via]

Steve over at Temple Bags just unveiled this beautiful tan waxed canvas duffel bag made with brown cow hide from the Oregon Leather Co. It looks like it’d be the perfect bag for a small trip.

If you love it do let Steve know and he’ll consider making some more when he comes back from India in June!

More pictures after the jump!

Watching leather age over time

tanner-goods-aged

3sixteen just posted a photo showing how their new Tanner Goods bracelets will age over time. When you buy the bracelets new, they look pale and stiff, but I think part of the fun in owning a genuine leather product like this is watching it age, change color, and crease. Definitely looks better as it gets broken in (plus there’s the connection you have with actually being a part of the aging process rather than simply buying it pre-aged). Compare the look of the aged leather above with how it looked like almost a year ago.

If you’re interested in getting one, the bracelets are now on sale at Self Edge.
