I love this new human interest series from The Verge. This is the first episode of Detours which starts off in Kansas City, Missouri and takes a look at how restaurants chefs are using technology like AgLocal to source sustainable and organic meats for their establishments.
These local folks mean business! Just look at the way they are standing so straight faced with their arms crossed peering into the camera. Don’t mess! Seriously, I love the internet.
I’m basically watching this to get ideas for home cooking. I guess I should actually visit these Brooklyn restaurants too, but hey, I don’t live here anymore.
