For about $30 USD at Cliff Edge. Man, what kind of mark-up is that? Absolutely ridiculous.

Look at the beautiful rebranding job that Eyeball did for the PBS Network.
The network debuted the rebranding effort on September 27th during the premiere of Ken Burns’ film series, The National Parks: America’s Best Idea, a documentary that takes viewers on a journey through some of America’s most beautiful places. Eyeball created over 630 different on-air, online, and print elements to push the new design into the minds of viewers.
You can check out videos of the live-action queues and the accordion fillers at Eyeball.

Google’s logo today pays tribute to the late Michael Jackson who would have turned 51 today.
UPDATE: I swear the news outlets have been saying he was turning 50… Weird.

Wow, I’m really liking the new Meredith Corporation logo. I always thought their previous logo looked archaic and a bit bland. I also love how they are incorporating the new splash of color into their letters. Very nice.

Maybe it’s another example of me following my gut instinct at first glance, or maybe it’s just coincidence, but when I first saw the widely spread Pepsi vs Coca-Cola logo chart making the rounds on the internet, I decided not to post it because I had an inkling that it was spreading false information. I didn’t really bother to research it further however because honestly it wasn’t of much interest to me (and it wasn’t really swaying any particular decisions about my beverage company of choice).
But thankfully, Brand New did do some research and presents a more accurate representation of the logo changes between Pepsi and Coca-Cola in the image above and shows definitively that both companies had their string of poor company logos. So there you have it folks, the many versions of the Pepsi AND Coca-Cola logo.

The City of Melbourne announced a brand-new city-wide identity today that is helping to position the city as one of the world’s most visually stimulating and modern places to live. The new logo does away with the previous logo that was designed in the 90’s and updates it with a multi-faceted large M. The new logo certainly makes me think of places like Federation Square.
Brand New has some images of the new logo in use which you should definitely check out. Thanks Denis!
