Inhaling sulfur hexafluoride will lower your voice temporarily

I had no idea that inhaling sulfar hexafluoride does the opposite effect of helium to your voice. Whereas helium makes your voice go higher, sulfur hexfluoride makes your voice go much deeper, making it sound like you’re speaking in a slow-motion video when you really aren’t. [via]
I’d love to see somebody inhale sulfur hexafluoride and say something really fast. And I wonder if this is how they get evil characters in movies to laugh the way they do.

Low fly-by of Air Force One at 30 Hudson Street

Here’s the view from 30 Hudson Street in Jersey City yesterday as a large 747 used sometimes to transport the President flew low over the Lower Manhattan vicinity scaring people and causing companies to evacuate their premises out of caution. The fly-by was a photo-shoot to update the image of Air Force One that the government had on file and the White House has since apologized for their bad judgment.

Wow, this is a real bold pair of kicks!
I’ve sorta stopped buying really colorful sneakers like this, but if I had to make one more to call it an end, I’d consider this pair. Unfortunately, they’re only sold in Korea for about $105 USD.

Nike Skateboarding in Brazil is coming out with these limited edition Cezar Gordo SB Dunk Low’s. They feature a see-through sole and a Sony Walkman-inspired headphone cord tangled all around the shoe. The shoe is a great combination of navy blue, grey, and yellow and only 480 will be made.
Unless you know somebody in Brazil, it looks like it’ll be real hard for you to get these as they’re only going to be sold in Cezar’s hometown of Brazil. Check out a video of Cezar Gordo skating below.
Mmm, these are delicious! I want a pair.
