Captured posted this very funny shot of a buffalo rider riding his buffalo in front of John F. Kennedy and Lyndon B. Johnson during the inauguration on January 20, 1961. It’s funny to think that at one point in time this was considered good entertainment for the President during the inauguration ceremony. And I guess at the time it was enjoyable because JFK and Johnson are clearly smiling and applauding this buffalo and its rider. Ride on!

I absolutely love this photograph of Lydon B. Johnson sitting down with prominent Civil Rights leaders Martin Luther King, Jr., Whitney Young, and James Farmer inside the White House Oval Office.
