Cyclist crashes into a car during a race

June 28, 2009 @ 1:02 am

And it’s not just a small crash either. The cyclist does some considerable damage to the back end of the car. And thankfully, it looks like the cyclist is ok. But damn, that is some crazy speed and stoppage there. I wouldn’t want that to ever happen to me.

Headbanging rocker gets hair caught in bass

April 9, 2009 @ 9:49 pm

The frontman for the band Gatling apparently got so into his headbanging routine that his long hair got stuck to the end of his nearby bass player’s instrument. [via]

At least he kept singing but you can’t deny that he looked like a fool while he tried to get his hair unstuck.

Tin iPod cases from Tinbot

November 30, 2008 @ 7:03 pm

I really don’t care about keeping my iPod in good condition. In fact, I think it looks neater when it’s all scratched up and worn in.

But for those of you who want to keep your iPod in like-new condition, you can get a tinbot. Tinbots are artist-designed tin metal iPod cases that fully encase your iPod. The one shown above is by Sket One.

If you can sacrifice the size of your iPod, then this looks like a pretty neat way to keep it clean and scratch-free.

BattleZone Bible: the Word protected in aluminum casing

November 9, 2008 @ 10:54 pm

As I was writing the entry for the Bible I recently received as a gift from my brother, I was having a look at the other Bibles available from Crossway and I saw this BattleZone Bible available for $29.99. The Bible is fully encased in a brushed-aluminum casing ensuring that the contents are well protected from the elements and any other stupidity that it may encounter.

If you don’t like the brushed aluminum look above, you can buy the BattleZone weathered metal Bible from Amazon for cheaper and get that gone-through-spiritial-battle look. Cheesy, but if that’s cool to you, then cool.
