MGMT have released an official music video for their popular hit song “Kids”. For a very long time, there was an alternate fan-made video floating around for “Kids” which you may have seen, but it wasn’t officially put out by MGMT.

Chiddy Bang is an up and coming rap and hip-hop group from Philly who definitely have some good songs up their sleeve. Their remix of MGMT’s “Kids” in particular is amazing and I’m sharing it here for you all to hear.

8-bit MGMT songs

I’m not sure what this says about the band, but I actually prefer the 8-bit versions of MGMT songs made by fans over at 8bitcollective. There are only a handful at the moment, but it sounds like MGMT tunes are relatively easy to duplicate using 8-bit tunes while still preserving the overall feel of the original song.
