Andrew Hathaway mixed the Notorious B.I.G.’s song “Party and Bullshit” with Miley Cyrus’ “Party In The U.S.A.” to create this infectious rap-pop mix. I love it, obviously! [via]

Wanna hear some fun mashups of songs? Then check out Super Mash Bros. on Myspace.

Super Mash Bros. is composed of Nick Fenmore and Dick Fink who take popular 90’s songs and mix them together in a clever way with today’s hit singles. It’s like Girl Talk I suppose but with different songs. I can’t ever get enough of these mashups, so I obviously enjoyed listening to it. You can also download their two CDs over on their website.

Thanks Esther!

From the award-winning documentary, “Playing For Change: Peace Through Music”, comes the first of many “songs around the world” being released independently. Featured is a cover of the Ben E. King classic by musicians around the world adding their part to the song as it travelled the globe.

The Playing For Change CD is now on sale at Amazon.com and iTunes. Visit the Playing For Change website for more info.

Akashi: vinyl collectible that combines Mickey Mouse with Mario

October 24, 2008 @ 2:41 pm

Dave Bondi has created this amusing mashup of Mickey Mouse and Mario, two of the world’s most recognizable mascots, and named it Akashi. It is both weird and awesome at the same time, and for $65, that’s not a bad price for a very unique collectible. Check out more photos at TOMOPOP. [via]

I kinda want one. By the way, this thing is 9 inches tall. NINE INCHES TALL. That means that this thing is big enough for people across the office to see it and give you WTF looks.
