Nimbus Independent presents their own unique way of filming a ski video. No harsh music, no seizure-inducing cuts…

The town of Rjukan, Norway in located at the bottom of a steep valley which means it is cut off from natural sunlight up to 6 months a year. The town recently erected giant mirrors at the top of the surrounding mountains to reflect light down into the valley.

Simon Christen spent 2 years filming San Francisco’s fog rolling over the mountains. He is the same guy that filmed that gorgeous video called The Unseen Sea back in 2011. This time-lapse video is definitely one of my favorites.
