Life-like Ursula animatronic character at Disney California Adventure Park

Just came across this video of Walt Disney Imagineering engineers and artists creating the moving Ursula character at Disney California Adventure Park. I’ve never been here, but this looks like a truly convincing animatronic character. It’s pretty amazing.

Remote-controlled model Gundam robot

I can’t read a single thing on this video, but wow, I had no idea they made actual remote-controlled Gundam robots. Regular kit models just aren’t cutting it these days, huh. [via]

Tortoise prefers a barbecue grill shell

Cute. And don’t worry you crazy people who are already thinking animal cruelty. The original video uploader has said that this tortoise named Shakespeare is actually playing around and rearranges the patio furniture often using his body. [via]
