Mute Math’s Armistice Tour started today and to celebrate, I personally rushed after work to grab tickets to the NYC show on November 13, 2009.
Tickets for the NYC show at Nokia Theater in Times Square are still available if you’re looking to buy. I recommend saving about $20 by going to the actual ticket booth at Nokia Theater to purchase tickets. Otherwise, TicketMaster rapes you with convenience charges.
Mute Math’s Armistice tour is set to go on the road one week from today, so I hope you’ve all bought your tickets to see a band that certainly puts on a good show every single time!
Mute Math will be in New York City on November 13 at the Nokia Theater in Times Square. You can buy tickets for that show here ($27).
As I mentioned yesterday, Mute Math’s sophomore album, Armistice, has been leaked ahead of its release date. I’m a big fan so I had a hard time resisting the temptation to listen to it early, and finally I gave in and I literally haven’t listened to any other album since.
The album starts off with one of their latest singles “Nerve” which I found to be one of the least interesting tracks on the entire album. Thankfully, it’s the first track so it gets better quickly and stays that way until the last track. The album is a good mix of fast and slow-paced songs that tend to balance each other out quite well. Overall, I’m really satisfied with this release and now more than ever I cannot wait to go and see Mute Math in concert once again. I’m ready to watch the best live act I’ve ever seen perform new material and simply rock out on stage.
Here are my favorite tracks: Backfire, Pins and Needles, Goodbye, Electrify, Lost Year, and Clockwork.
For those who don’t know, Armistice will be released on August 18, 2009.
Breaking: Mute Math’s sophomore album, Armistice, has been leaked online a full 13 days ahead of its scheduled release date of August 18, 2009. The leak is so fresh that it hasn’t even been reported on the Armistice Wikipedia page yet (normally leaks get reported there pretty quickly).
