This is great! Gizmodo posted a bunch of photos taken by Grégoire Alessandrini in the early 1990s that shot New York City in a much grittier mood and light. In fact, you should really check out Grégoire Alessandrini’s blog because he posts a lot of old photos of NYC there.
I’ve posted Geoff Tompkinson’s hyper lapse videos before, but this one is worth watching if only because it centers around NYC’s bustling landscape of vehicles and people.
