Remember 2002? Remember 1999? Well, now here’s a trip back in time to 1986, my birth year!

I don’t know why this bothers me, but the My Pet Monster they show in this video is not the original one. The original one had a pickle nose, not a human one. Anyway, here’s a bit of nostalgia for you brought to you by BuzzFeed.

After watching this amazing 10 minute video mixing pop music, culture, and movies, I realized that the year of 1999 was some of the most influential material in my adolescent life. When I reminisce about my childhood, the tunes, movies, and events almost all come from this year. This video is great!
