The Nation hopes to confuse book buyers looking for Sarah Palin

October 22, 2009 @ 2:28 am

Looking forward to Sarah Palin’s book called Going Rogue: An American Life on November 17th? If you’re buying in stores, be sure that you’re actually buying the right book because The Nation is placing copies of a very similar looking title called Going Rouge: Sarah Palin, An American Nightmare on the same shelves in hopes that some clueless buyer will pick up the wrong book. The unofficial book from The Nation is filled with essays bashing the former Alaska Governor and also pictures Sarah Palin on the cover (but in this photo she is shown in front of lightning and cloudy skies). Dollar Menu helps McDonald’s boost November sales

December 8, 2008 @ 8:26 pm

Advertising Age is reporting that McDonald’s saw a 4.5% increase in store sales in November. McDonald’s attributes this rise partly to its Dollar Menu, but I can’t help but think it’s also because people are trying to save money this time of year, especially with all of the layoffs.

Plus, the US is officially in a recession, so those $1 sandwiches probably come in handy.

I cannot believe that it’s already December. I just got used to writing the number “11″ in my notebook and now November is gone. Time needs to slow down for me!
