Brock Davis has several amusing images on his Flickr account that he calls “Born With Googley Eyes”. As you can imagine, the pictures are one part freaky and another part funny. I have a pack of googley eyes somewhere in my room. Gonna start sticking them on places.

As many of you may already know, there’s a salmonella outbreak in some peanut products originating from a Georgia peanut factory that is responsible for 500 related sicknesses and up to 7 deaths nationwide. It makes sense then that some people, including myself, have stayed away from anything containing peanuts just to be cautious.
The American Peanut Council however is assuring the public that most peanut-products are indeed safe to eat, and they have listed a long line of products and companies that are good to buy and consume. [via]
Looks like I might just have peanut butter and jelly for lunch after all!
