I already knew the Pentax K-x digital SLR was going to come in rainbow colors, but I had no idea that Pentax had in mind to release the K-x in the colors of Japan’s robot toy, Kore Ja Nai (I’m not even going to pretend I knew what Kore Ja Nai was before writing this post…apparently it’s a big thing in Japan).
Anyway, Pentax is making only 100 of these colorful versions and all of them will go on sale starting November. Peep the gallery below.

No joke, the recently announced Pentax K-x digital SLR camera will come in a whole mess of colors other than red. In fact, it looks like Pentax is rolling out a custom page for Japanese buyers so that they can mix and match colors for their camera body and grip.
I honestly didn’t think the red color was all that great, but now that I see that this camera is meant to be outrageous, I sort of like it a bit more now. Kudos to Pentax for doing this.

The newly announced Pentax K-x comes in dashing red. Seriously. :O
I wonder how many of these red cameras Pentax hopes to sell.

Pentax announced the introduction of a limited-edition all-white K2000 digital SLR. The camera itself is not new as it is exactly identical in shape and specifications as the regular K2000, but it is the white-colored body and lens that makes this a somewhat special announcement.
In a market that sees virtually no color variations in body color (at least among SLR’s), the Pentax K2000 white edition is an instant unique thing to own. I’m not sure that I’d like to own a white camera body (for fear of it turning yellow after lots of use), but I’m sure that some people will considering the effectiveness of the color white on particular electronic items as of late. In my opinion, I’d rather go for all-black with an off-white lens than an all-white body like this. Heck, if I had a choice, I’d vouch for a matte-black camera with a matte-black lens.
The white Pentax K2000 is set to be released in February 2009 for a yet undetermined amount.
