Designer Liron Tzanhany is the creative mind behind the INU YOCHI Dog Pod, a pit-like bed for dogs and animals who like to sleep on top of a ruffled mess.

Joey, this one’s for you!

1984 Fish Bowl

1984-fishbowl

Fish bowls are usually very public spectacles. They sit out in the open and allow anybody passing by to view the fish and its contents at any time they please. But with the 1984 Fish Bowl from Workshopped, there can now be some privacy for that pet fish you own because this fish bowl features solid white walls and 3 domed windows for you to peer into or for the fish to look out from. A nice twist on the traditional all-glass fish tanks that I’m used to seeing.

Unfortunately, this fish bowl is $430. Yikes.

This cat really likes the guitar

I don’t play guitar, but sometimes I’ll be typing at my computer and my cat Oreo will come in and start pushing against my arms and hands. No different than this, I say. [via]

Cats don’t care if you’re in the bathroom

The collective MeFi linked to this rather amusing and true comic from Idiot Comics about how cats always seem to come in to the toilet when you’re using it. All they care about is a back rub and they could care less if you were on the toilet.

But compare that with this comic of cats who really don’t care (look closely for the difference).

The Pod Pet Bed

December 12, 2008 @ 9:55 pm

Design Public has this neat but expensive pod pet bed for sale. It’s an elevated cave-like home ideal for a cat to sleep or rest in.

The Pod Pet Bed comes in 4 color variations (shown above) and each cost $115. If your cat doesn’t like enclosed spaces, you can take off the top cover and let it simply be an elevated bed (you can buy The Podium Pet Bed for the same price, but you’d be a fool to do that).

The inside of the pod is Sherpa fleece-lined and easily taken out for cleaning. Nice, but definitely not $115-nice.
