Phone Life explores the lives of two San Francisco residents: Matthew, a UX designer who’s never owned a cell phone, and Tess, a teenager who’s grown up with a smart phone.

The Atlantic and WNYC teamed up to ask a bunch of staffers to track their phone time usage and then purposely try to minimize it over the course of a few weeks. I don’t know if I could do this.

This is Google’s Project Ara, their idea of a modular phone system where you can swap out individual parts. Cannot wait until this looks cooler and is a bit more functional.

Never tried this before, but apparently Tekdry’s method is much faster and just as safe.

A modular phone may be as close to becoming a reality for the general public as next year! Exciting stuff from Google/Motorola and Phonebloks.
