I’m sorry but as much as I love Dear Photographer, I have to strongly disagree with this one. There’s never too many pictures of cats. Never!

My Favourite Things from kidswithcrayons on Vimeo.
Here’s a cute story directed by Edward Styles about a girl who takes Polaroids of all of the things she likes and a boy who comes across the box in which she keeps all of her images. The beautiful soundtrack is by Stephen Wright.

Ever come across a moment so striking that you must take a picture of it, only to find out that you either left your camera at home or your camera is too slow to capture the fleeting moment? If your answer is a YES, then Unphotographable will make sense to you. It’s a photoblog of text describing all of the photos one person did not take or could not take. What a novel idea!
Thanks Eric!

I just launched a new photoblog over at hermanyung.com called You’re My Favourite. It’s modeled after The Big Picture and features my personal favorites from my always-growing archive of photographs.
Check it out, subscribe to it, and let me know what you think. Thanks!

This particular plate of food was taken at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Sydney, Australia and is featured on this interesting niche blog of pictures of hospital foods from around the world. [via]

Something about a black frame and a thick white border make any ordinary picture look amazing. These are pretty hot.
Peep them in person at the Calumet Gallery from May 12-22.
And if you can, stop by on Tuesday, May 12th from 6PM-8:30PM for the opening reception where you can meet me and the rest of the graduating photography class of 2009 (and see their work too!).
