Wow, it’s photos like these that sort of make me miss riding the Subway in NYC and seeing all this crazy stuff that goes on below the streets. Grotesk saw this fairly large Cadillac Escalade power wheel toy on the platform at Union Square. The pictures really speak for themselves. Talk about blocking the entrance/exit…

Wow, look how dingy and dark and graffiti-filled the NYC Subways were back in the 80’s before the crackdown on graffiti in the system. Amazing. I kind of wish I could go back in time and experience this for myself.

The deepest Subway station in New York City

I’ve always thought this about the Subway station at Lexington Ave and 63rd Street along the F line, and this video confirms it. It really is the deepest platform below street level. I’d love to know what’s behind those walls in between the street and the platform. I always imagine that there would be hidden secrets or something behind there.
