Not quite back yet

I’m not in Maine anymore, but I’m also not back in New York City yet. The family decided to make a stop in Hadley, Massachusetts and that’s where I am at the moment until tomorrow.

This vacation has been fun and tiring, but it’ll be good to be back in the city tomorrow. Also, I may not have a computer for the next week or so because of an unfortunate accident. So I’ll just be hanging out in real life in the meantime.

Photographs of the night by Carl Wooley

Carl Wooley has very nice nighttime photographs that are illuminated by street lamps. I envy his ability to see light in situations like the one above. Wow, so beautiful!

Also, I have a picture of this same brown/grey wall that’s shown in the image below. Kinda funny that I was able to pick it out. :)

Light pole stops two prisoners

January 29, 2009 @ 6:09 pm

Two New Zealand prisoners are back in custody right now after trying to make a run for freedom only to be stopped by a light pole. You see, the two prisoners were handcuffed together when they decided that making a run for it would be logical. So they did and were immediately pepper-sprayed but not captured — yet.

The two managed to get out into the street — albeit a bit dazed and confused from the pepper-spray — and were shortly stopped by their own stupidity. Forgetting that they were still handcuffed, the two separately ran around opposite sides of a light pole and were thrust into each other. The surveillance video is definitely something to laugh over. Ferrari 360 Modena wrapped around a pole

October 28, 2008 @ 5:32 pm

A $250,000 Ferrari 360 Modena crashed into a pole in Adelaide injuring the driver and the passenger. After looking at the pictures, I’m surprised that nobody died in the crash.

Also, I’m surprised by how strong that pole is.

Have you seen this cat?
