Information Is Beautiful posted this rather confusing timeline of time travel in popular TV shows and movies. It was taken from the book The Visual Miscellaneum (Harper Collins) by David McCandless.
I find that this graphic is rather hard to read because of that stupid squiggly yellow year-line. This would have been much better if that line was just straight and everything else bounced around it. What the heck, right? That yellow squiggly line just screws everything over. This could have been so much more awesome. See the entire graphic here.

This is one of the better Ask MeFi posts I’ve read lately. It’s a bunch of one-line sentences that link to popular songs used in pop culture scenarios.
For example: What is that song they always use “When it’s a beautiful sunrise on the farm”. Oh, it’s “Edvard Grieg – Peer Gynt – Morning Mood“.

You may have heard recently that one of the world’s most powerful and influential women, Oprah, has joined the Twitterati. Well, now that she has, it’s pretty much a given that Twitter is growing at an exponential rate. So how do you know if you or somebody else was on Twitter before Oprah?
