It’s a pleasure using Apple Keynote

December 8, 2008 @ 8:06 pm

I just want to say how wonderful it is to use Keynote after so many years of Powerpoint torture. Apple’s Keynote almost makes me want to make a slide presentation. Almost.

Anyway, I have absolutely no use for the other two applications in the iWorks Suite, so I uninstalled them right away.

Oh, and also, did you know you could download the free trial on the Apple website and then activate it to the full version by using some of the serials posted on a particular popular website? Yep, you can definitely do that.

Playing around with 280 Slides

Hmmm, I’m just testing to see if the 280 Slides presentation I made will embed.

Anyway, I just started playing with 280 Slides, an online presentation maker/viewer that’s very much like Apple’s Keynote application. The 280 Slides web editor is as bare-bones as it gets without being completely useless. I imagine that this web app would be good for emergencies…but honestly, I cannot think of a situation that I would be in where I would need a PowerPoint presentation RIGHT AWAY.

Still, 280 Slides is fun to fool around with. Check it out if you’ve got nothing better to do.
