Then and Now Flickr photo pool

I came across this interesting Flickr photo pool yesterday that basically shows a bunch of places with past (old) images juxtaposed with present (newer) images of the same location. The Then and Now Flickr pool seems to be going relatively strong as it currently has over 1000 images in its group. Going through some of the photos, it’s interesting to see how some places more or less stay exactly the same over time while others are more susceptible to the changes in the environment that they are in.
At a quick glance, it seems like most of the photos are from countries other than the US, which might make exploring this group a bit more interesting than if it were only US-based because other countries included in this set are much older than the US places.
