I had to rename a good number of files a specific way today at work and Name Mangler from Mind Tricks really made the renaming process easy as ever!
Name Mangler is a completely free Mac app that allows you to find & replace parts of numerous file names (what I used it for basically), number files sequentially, change the case, set extensions, add prefix/suffix, remove/insert characters, or any combination of the above. I know there are other apps that have these features built-in, but none I have ever used outputs the results as quickly as Name Mangler. I’m serious — if you want speed with batch renaming, Name Mangler is a good choice to go with. Get it here.
