Wow, will you look at this! Curbed is reporting that the abandoned New York City public school PS90 in Harlem is being converted into condominiums by L+M Development Partners. The school grounds at 220 West 148th Street have been vacant since the 1970’s. After looking at the interior renders, it’s hard to imagine that kids used to learn here.

Alex Roman (alias: 3Seventh) rendered these amazing images after seeing the Ryotaro Shiba Museum designed by Tadao Ando in person. Alex then spent 2 weeks modeling, texturing, rendering and compositing the library-museum he remembered in 3D Studio Max, Photoshop and V-Ray.
None of the images in this post are actual photographs. If you want to see more of Alex Roman’s work, definitely check out this post over at Autodesk.

So I’m sitting here trying to think of a brand re-design uglier than this recently unveiled Pepsi logo with a “smile”, and well, I cannot think of one.
They essentially have two logos in their new logo; 1 is the new “smile” logo and the other is hidden inside the lowercase “e” in “pepsi” (a take on their soon-to-be-retired logo). [via]
