Franke & Heidecke have come out with a limited edition Rolleiflex box set that includes 3 cameras dipped in gold. The whole set costs 29,500 Euros, which is over $38,500 in USD.
The set was made to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Rolleiflex camera, and if you pay the full price, you’ll get the following cameras:
- Rolleiflex 4.0 FW, with Schneider Super Angulon 4,0/50 mm HFT
- Rolleiflex 2.8 FX, with Zeiss Planar 2,8/80 mm HFT
- Rolleiflex 4.0 FT, with Schneider Tele-Xenar 4,0/135 mm HFT
To make sure that the cameras are kept in pristine condition, the set comes packaged in a Bordeaux nappa leather and walnut box with CNC-milled lenshoods and filter adaptors for each camera.
And to go a bit further with the number 80, only 80 of these box sets will be created. After that, it’s eBay hunting for the rest of you.
