Ever since I saw Amy Bennett’s work at Today and Tomorrow I’ve sorta fallen in love with her fictional neighborhoods. Amy creates miniature dioramas and then paints them to look like surreal and pristine neighborhoods filled with life. I think I like how all of her work is so clean and yet mysterious and haunting because of its perfection. I’m struggling with the idea of living in a place like this and being absolutely disgusted by it at the same time. It’s a weird feeling…

Penguin Books just announced what is probably the most exciting thing to come to book design in a very long time. They are unleashing 13 limited edition artist-designed book sets for the Christmas season. Each set is unified by a design motif that stretches across all of the covers in that set. The book covers are truly beautiful and inspirational and they bring back great artwork to great classics in literature.
Every set has its own unique price, but only 5 of the 13 sets come with an extremely limited edition poster. The quantities are limited and sales are based on a first come first serve basis, so if you’re really into these, I wouldn’t hesistate a moment longer before putting the purchase through. Seriously, these are so awesome.
Have a look at all of the 13 sets here.
I want these so bad, I just don’t have the money. :(
