I found this collection of police sirens available for free download on The New York Times website. You can use them as ring tones if your phone supports such a thing. The Rumbler siren is also there. Whee!
NYPD vehicles now have the rumbler siren

It’s official. I just heard an NYPD police vehicle equipped with the Rumbler siren speed down my street. I certainly felt the vibrations coming from the siren and I am very impressed! These will do well in cutting through all of the distracting NYC noise.
I posted previously about the Rumbler and how it uses low-frequency sounds to literally vibrate you (or the vehicle you are in) so that you are aware of the police siren even in loud areas.
Here’s another awesome example of the Rumbler siren in use on the West Side Highway.
