Constant rain over the last week or so has put parts of Georgia under water. In the pictures (taken September 23, 2009) and video here, you can see parts of Six Flags Over Georgia (West of Atlanta) submerged in murky waters rendering the entire park useless until the waters recede.

While taking a routine walk with Akaasha, a 6-month-old Bengal tiger at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom, the tiger stopped at the tank of Mavrick, a 14-month-old bottlenose dolphin to get a glimpse of life on the opposite side of the wildlife spectrum. [via]
This picture is awesome. I’d like to bring a tiger on a walk.
Erich Morton and his friend James stumbled upon the site of the former Six Flags amusement park in New Orleans. The park was heavily damaged in the wake of Hurricane Katrina and has since fallen into disrepair as cleanup and recovery have all but been abandoned (for now). What’s left in the park’s place is a mess of rides that are left half-standing and a lot of rubble from the storm.
