My cats sleep almost all the time even when I’m home, so it’s no surprise to me that these cats above would do the same thing even when their owner went off to work. [via]
Steve passes out in a jet

I guess the G-forces in a jet plane are extreme enough to make the average person pass out during maneuvers. I would not like to be on a jet I don’t think.

What is the optimal temperature for sleep?
August 5, 2009 @ 4:34 pm

Here’s what I learned today: According to an article in The New York Times, the optimal temperature for sleep is between 60 and 68 degrees Fahrenheit. Studies have shown that temperatures too far above or below these numbers result in restlessness.
Cool, no?
Billy Mays found dead in his sleep
June 28, 2009 @ 12:57 pm

Infomercial king, Billy Mays, was found dead this morning after apparently passing away in his sleep. He was 50 years old.
The death was very sudden especially since Billy Mays seemed incredibly lively and healthy on Tuesday when he appeared on the Tonight Show with Conan O’Brien.
Billy Mays’ son (also named Billy Mays) tweeted about his dad’s death this morning after discovering that he would not wake up (see screengrab below).

Here’s one of the OxiClean infomercials that Billy Mays was famous for.
