In about 130 photos taken on Wednesday, September 23, 2009 at an event at The Museum of Art in NY, Barack Obama seems to have the exact same smile. Somebody noticed this and created a video of Barack Obama’s face staying stationary while the objects and people around him moved. Weird and slightly captivating. How does he do that so well? [via]
This is a bit old, but on Monday, December 1, 2008, Venus, Jupiter and a crescent moon all lined up perfectly in the sky to create the illusion of a smiley face or a sad face (depending on what hemisphere and region you were looking up at the sky from).
It is a pretty rare event that these heavenly bodies line up so perfectly to form an image in the sky and Jack Horkheimer of the Miami Space Transit Planetarium says the next one won’t happen until November 18, 2052. They essentially have two logos in their new logo; 1 is the new “smile” logo and the other is hidden inside the lowercase “e” in “pepsi” (a take on their soon-to-be-retired logo). [via]
