The now-infamous portrait of Barack Obama created by Shepard Fairey (of Obey Giant fame) has been inducted into the Smithsonian Museum’s National Portrait Gallery! The image of Barack Obama was central in created a viral movement to get people to vote Obama during the 2008 Presidential election. In a way, it became the unofficial poster for the entire Obama campaign. [via]
