Cover creation from Peter Belanger on Vimeo.
Peter Belanger created this stop-motion video that shows just how much work goes into created a Macworld magazine cover. The video goes from shooting, to editing, and then to production and finally to the final product which is a print version of the magazine cover. [via]
This video just made me really miss working at a magazine.

Pigeon Pilfer from Michael Stevenson on Vimeo.
This short film is the product of Michael Stevenson’s senior year work at San Francisco State University. It took Michael approximately 4 months and 60 pounds of clay and a digital SLR camera to complete this project which I think turned out quite well.
I know a lot of people who might possibly have this fear of pigeons someday robbing them of their money. Haha. Check out the Pigeon Pilfer website for more info.

Olympus is touting around this video of 9600 photographs re-shot over 1800 times as a stop-motion video to tell the story behind the Olympus PEN line of cameras. It’s nothing that hasn’t already been done before, but it’s still pretty awesome.
And here’s an interested tidbit about the video: Olympus claims they shot over 60,000 photos just for this.

10 Deep’s Summer 2009 lookbook is a fantastic mess of stop-motion photography. I love it! I’ve never seen this done in a lookbook before, but if you have, please send me some links to other examples!
