Superdry, the clothing company created in 2003 by James Holder and Julian Dunkerton, has officially crossed the ocean into the US market. The first Superdry store on US soil has opened in LA at the Hollywood and Highland Center and it carries the full line of Superdry and some Breed apparel as well.

In the coming months, Superdry will be crossing the continental US and opening a store near NYU in New York City. Stay tuned for more info!

Byrd & Belle have an Etsy store filled with wonderful felt products including the simple and beautiful felt laptop sleeve above. The one shown here fits the most recent 15″ MacBook Pro computers, but if you have an older one, Byrd & Belle also have sleeves for those as well.

For $55, they are priced just right for stylishly carrying your computer around. Plus, those leather straps are a nice touch.

Showing this baby off to the world. I picked this up at an antique shop for $20 while I was vacationing in Maine. Everything works as it should and all it needs is a bit of cleaning which I hope doesn’t remove the old, musty leathery smell that it currently has (I kinda like the smell, actually). More pictures of the body below.

I need to get some 120 film and shoot some random crap to make sure 100% that this is a working model.

3sixteen opens new store in New York with Self Edge

August 3, 2009 @ 9:10 am

SENY

While I was away on vacation, my friends at 3sixteen opened up a brand-new storefront on the Lower East Side with Self Edge. I have yet to visit the store yet since I just got back to the city, but judging from Andrew’s photos, the place looks like its a big success! I remember talking to Andrew about his ideas for a new store a couple of months back and we both agreed that a nice store deserves nice hangers. It certainly looks like he and the rest of his design team didn’t skimp out on those. :)

Anyway, if you’re in the neighborhood, drop by and check out the new store and pick up some goods. I’m sure they’d be happy to chat.

Oh, and while you’re there, you might as well have a look at the “Square” purchasing system that uses an iPhone as a transaction device. Pretty neat!
