This is totally awesome. I’ve never seen a bridge get built before and seeing it in a time-lapse video is incredibly nifty. [via]
Why is the Microsoft Bing logo stretched?
June 3, 2009 @ 4:17 pm

When Microsoft’s new search engine Bing was unveiled this week the thing that I noticed immediately was the oddly stretched logo type. It bothered me because it looked completely off and amateur. Well, Brand New took it upon themselves to guess what the typeface might have looked like before the MS art department stretched it beyond proportion. There ya go. I don’t understand how this could have squeezed through the art department at Microsoft. Surely they have one, don’t they?
Mini Cooper as a pink stretch limo
April 22, 2009 @ 10:02 pm

Saw this rolling down the block today with lots of blonde white ladies inside. The crowd was NOT going wild. I think everybody on the street knows that only ugly and stupid people would ever agree to ride in a stretch pink Mini Cooper limo with a hot tub in the back.
A new take on tug of war
October 30, 2008 @ 8:51 am
Leave it to the Japanese to re-invent one of the most basic playground games of all time: tug of war. Except the only difference is that instead of a rope, you’re using some sort of two-ended nylon sock slipped over the head of each opponent. [via]
Now that’s a game I’d love to see brought to the playgrounds in the US.
