John linked to these amazing photos of surfer Kerby Brown tackling a huge 41-foot monster wave. Kerby nearly died while surfing this wave after it suddenly gave out beneath him. Thankfully, he survived and now the photos are making their way to the Oakley Surfing Life Big Wave Awards which awards surfers who brave some of the craziest waves in the Australasian waters.
