The Office theme song in Mario Paint

It’s funny that after all these years, Mario Paint still lives to entertain and amuse me. I never actually thought the game was all that fun, but hearing people’s creations always makes me want to whip out the Nintendo Mouse and get crackin! [via]

SexyBack vs. Legend of Zelda Theme on Two Tesla Coils from Trammell on Vimeo.

At SXSW this year, ArcAttack set up Tesla Coils to act as synchronized instruments in a massive custom DJ setup. According to ArcAttack, these Tesla Coils produce an electrical arc with a distorted square wave sound that mimics early synthesizers. They then manipulated the wave in such a way to play back the theme to The Legend of Zelda.

WordPress.com announced today that they have added the Vigilance theme to their collection of selectable themes for use on WordPress.com blogs.

I’ve been using the Vigilance theme since September of last year and it’s been quite good to me, offering an array of easy-to-implement features I’ve yet to see in another free theme. As good as the theme is, Doobybrain.com is quickly growing out of it and needing a revamp yet again. That is why this announcement couldn’t have come at a better time, because for the past few weeks I’ve been tweaking a new layout that should go live in the not too distant future.

In the meantime, if you’ve got a WordPress.com blog, Vigilance is a pretty good place to start publishing.
