Beginning next Friday, October 2, 2009, Disney/Pixar is re-releasing Toy Story and Toy Story 2 as a double feature in 3D! The special release will only be in theaters for 2 weeks so I made sure that I bought my tickets early. Can’t wait!

Bought tickets to Mute Math in NYC

Mute Math’s Armistice Tour started today and to celebrate, I personally rushed after work to grab tickets to the NYC show on November 13, 2009.

Tickets for the NYC show at Nokia Theater in Times Square are still available if you’re looking to buy. I recommend saving about $20 by going to the actual ticket booth at Nokia Theater to purchase tickets. Otherwise, TicketMaster rapes you with convenience charges.

Bolt Bus to Boston

I just bought a round-trip ticket on the Bolt Bus to Boston this weekend. The Bolt Bus is a slightly more expensive version of the “cheap Chinatown buses” going to and from New York City to Boston (and some other cities). The main difference being that the Bolt Bus is generally considered the “luxury” version of these buses because it offers free wifi and power outlets.

I’ve never been on the Bolt Bus so I hope all of the hype stands true (especially the one outlet per seat claim). Anyway, here’s to hoping that my tickets were worth the extra few bucks! I’m leaving on Friday morning!

I have a single VIP ticket that admits 2 into a Kid Cudi concert in Long Island this Saturday (January 24) at 10PM.

If you want it, you MUST tell me ASAP and pick up the tickets in person (in NYC).

A year of parking tickets in New York City

November 30, 2008 @ 4:24 pm

New York City is well-known for its aggressiveness in issuing parking tickets. In some ways, it’s both a blessing and a curse because the tickets keep traffic moving but they also take lots of money from you when you’re issued one.

The New York Times has put together this interactive map showing places in New York City where tickets were handed out. You can click on any part of the map and see how many tickets were issued between July 2007 and June 2008.

In total, the number of tickets written between this period was 9,955,441. CRAZY.

Just a note to my friends: 28th Street is a red zone when it comes to parking tickets.
