Engadget has a fabulous video interview with Meric Adriansen, one of the designers for some of Times Square’s most engaging and in-your-face advertisements. Meric’s designs end up using some of today’s most hi-tech computer setups just to display several seconds of advertising in a loop. Pretty fascinating info overall.
Bought tickets to Mute Math in NYC
September 22, 2009 @ 6:46 pm

Mute Math’s Armistice Tour started today and to celebrate, I personally rushed after work to grab tickets to the NYC show on November 13, 2009.
Tickets for the NYC show at Nokia Theater in Times Square are still available if you’re looking to buy. I recommend saving about $20 by going to the actual ticket booth at Nokia Theater to purchase tickets. Otherwise, TicketMaster rapes you with convenience charges.
NY Post has exclusive video of the Ferrari that jumped the curb in Times Square
May 5, 2009 @ 5:15 pm
Take a look at this video of a Ferrari jumping the curb and hitting pedestrians in the middle of Times Square. Believe it or not, this happened during a filming of a Nicolas Cage movie and the two pedestrians that were hurt were NOT actually part of the film set/cast/crew.
Who approves a high-speed car chase scene in the middle of Manhattan without closing off the blocks to all pedestrians not associated with the film???? That’s crazy.
Mat & Kim – Lessons Learned

Matt and Kim – “LESSONS LEARNED” (OFFICIAL VIDEO) from FVMMO FILMS on Vimeo.
Bobby posted this music video for “Lessons Learned” by musical duo Mat & Kim that shows Mat and Kim stripping completely naked in the middle of Times Square.
According to the director, everything in this video was shot for real…except for a small part at the very end (but I won’t ruin it for you).
Pepsi lies about Yankees ticket giveaway in Times Square
April 17, 2009 @ 8:33 pm
Yesterday morning, the Pepsi-Cola company sponsored an event where they would give out 250 opening day tickets to Yankees Stadium. Unfortunately, the company pretty much lied about the ticket giveaway and what resulted was a large magnitude of angry people shouting “Pepsi sucks!” in Times Square.

Umm…they have to test confetti?!
