Watching this video gave me anxiety.
Robots are so awesome. Skip to 2:20 to see the robots do the hard work of fitting a rubber tire over a wheel/rim. It even inflates the tire automatically once it’s on. AMAZING.
This is scary. So the force of one of these tires exploding due to improper maintenance techniques will feel like being hit by a truck.
I’ve always wondered this myself and I’m glad this video has been uploaded to YouTube. Winter tires are made of a different type of rubber that stay softer in cold weather. And you guessed it, because of this, the winter tires perform a heck of a lot better than those summer tires in icy conditions.
