I don’t speak or read Japanese, so if anybody wants to help translate the details of this video, please feel free to enlighten me in the comments.
Anyway, from what I gather, this is a music video by Alva Noto called “Unitxt u_08-1″ with the voice of Anne-James Chaton. The video was directed by Carsten Nicolai.

The I.D.E. Store in the suburbs of Tokyo, Japan will custom leather-bound your bicycle handlebars for you if you drop them off in their store. Here are some examples to entice you. [via]

They probably aren’t good in outdoor weather, but they sure do look nice. Unfortunately, this is Japan only. Although I’m sure it wouldn’t be too hard to find a leather company elsewhere that would do a custom job for a price.

Japan’s Tokyo Metro website [translated] has a gallery of posters that tell people how they should be acting on the subway. [via]

It’s in typical Japanese fashion to put a bit of odd humor into everything and these posters definitely fit the character. I wish the MTA would put out PSA posters like this in the subways here in NYC. It’d make the subway ride a bit more cheerful I think.
