At the Kirby Creek Equine Rehab & Support Center in Pinnacle, NC, there lives a horse named Hustler who can stick his tongue out on command. A pretty neat and amusing trick. Just watch the video.

Slow-motion video of a tongue getting caught in a mouse trap

April 8, 2009 @ 1:30 am

The video starts off with a slow-motion hand-in-bear-trap which sounds interesting but really isn’t.

The real kicker starts at around halfway through the video when they show a human tongue getting caught in a mouse trap. It’s filmed at 1000 frames per second so you can see the saliva go all over the place. NICE.

Wiggling a split-tongue

I had no idea you could control a split-tongue like that! This is actually kind of gross. [via]

Close-up of a cow at 300 frames per second

This is quite possibly the most awesome slow-motion video of any animal I’ve seen on YouTube yet. I really want a camcorder that can record at super high frame rates. If I had one, I’d record every part of my life in slow motion so that I can make even the most mundane action exciting!

John McCain with his tongue out, licking an ice cream cone

October 16, 2008 @ 5:02 pm

ROFL. I love the internet because stuff like this pops up in all sorts of varieties. Anyway, if you’re curious, the image above is an actual photo of John McCain at the end of the Presidential debate last night as he shuffled behind the desk to shake hands with the moderator. It was one of those nervous things I’m sure we all do when we know we’re looking stupid, but I bet McCain didn’t expect somebody to actually capture this face in a photo.

And this being the internet, somebody has Photoshop’d a big ice cream cone into the hands of McCain, making the picture all the more hilarious. Man, McCain’s arms have a life of their own sometimes. Am I the only person who thinks so?
