ForestBound on Etsy is selling this leather tote made from genuine a WWII-era US Navy sea bag. It is already worn-in since the original bag it was made from is about 60 years old. [via]

A couple of weeks ago, the folks over at Canterbury New Zealand sent over a large tote bag constructed out of the same (or similar) material as their rugby jerseys and shirts. The bag is incredibly soft to the touch because of this material and sewn together to hold quite a bit amount of weight.
At the top enclosure, there’s a zipper that goes completely across to keep your items safe from theft and safe from the outside elements. On the inside there’s one smaller pocket to keep keys or any other small object from getting lost in the larger main compartment. The zipper isn’t waterproof, but neither is the bag. And if it does get soiled somehow, the bag can be cleaned simply by throwing it into the washer and hung dry.
I imagine the tote to be great for the beach or just a casual day out. Grab one over at Canterbury NZ USA.

This April, Urban Outfitters is releasing 2 bags in collaboration with Filson in select city stores. The duffel shown above will be available for $205 and a smaller tote bag for $129. [via]
For $205, it’s not cheap. But damn, it looks good.
