Kaiser Permanente imagines a paperless world

This ad from Kaiser Permanente called “Emerald Cities” imagines what the world might look like if paper medical records went digital. The company argues that many trees would be saved and possibly growing in the middle of our roads. The ad might not make perfect sense, but it’s nice anyway.

Air freshener forest

This little installation by Jack Williams uses 350 Royal Pine air fresheners to create a floating forest.

This is one of my fears I didn’t even know I had. I would hate to be in a room filled with Royal Pine air fresheners because while they look nice, they certainly do not smell nice.

Because it’s Friday, check out pony_tail’s Flickr photostream which consists of beautiful, dream-like outdoor scenes in Russia (I believe) with a person or two dropped in every once in a while. The girl shown above and below in the gallery is supposedly the owner of the account but the photos were taken by her friend (who remains unnamed). Some of my favorites are below. :)

A view of Central Park from the Hearst Tower

Even on a rainy and cloudy day, the view of Central Park from the 28th floor of the Hearst Tower is breathtaking. The view is one of many reasons why I love working here.
