what-is-that-song-they-always-use

This is one of the better Ask MeFi posts I’ve read lately. It’s a bunch of one-line sentences that link to popular songs used in pop culture scenarios.

For example: What is that song they always use “When it’s a beautiful sunrise on the farm”. Oh, it’s “Edvard Grieg – Peer Gynt – Morning Mood“.

There’s no doubt that this entire post will be of good resource in the future. BOOKMARKED!

The Office theme song in Mario Paint

April 3, 2009 @ 6:38 am

It’s funny that after all these years, Mario Paint still lives to entertain and amuse me. I never actually thought the game was all that fun, but hearing people’s creations always makes me want to whip out the Nintendo Mouse and get crackin! [via]

McDonald’s Filet-O-Fish commercial with singing bass

This, my friends, is the best McDonald’s commercial to come around in a very long time. I can’t get that jingle out of my head!

These songs all sound the same

Apparently, a lot of songs use the same 4 chord progressions, making for a pretty dull video explaining how a lot of your favorite hits are actually composed of the same notes. Thanks Denise!

Sarah Palin’s run-on answer set to piano music

October 24, 2008 @ 3:14 am

Not quite a piano duet, but I just have to say that this might be the most creative piece of video mashing I’ve seen done to Sarah Palin.

The music is set to the video of Sarah Palin being interviewed by Katie Couric. Seriously, how do people come up with this stuff??!??!! SO GOOD!
