Do you notice anything awkward about the image above? Doesn’t it look rights-side-up and upside-down all at the same time? That’s the trickery behind some of Michael Kai’s exhibition work which you can see on his website. He seems to mix in the effect of M.C. Escher’s drawings with his photographic manipulations to create a very surreal scene that deserves a double-take.
